Cynthia Bailey and Nene Leakes are not even on good enough terms to say happy birthday according to the Real Housewives of Atlanta star’s latest snub. The model wished another joyful year to everyone but her former bestie.
Tanya Sam was introduced as a friend of Nene last season of RHOA. They had multiple things in common including their love for fashion, the fact that they were both Sagittarius, and that they were born on the same day.
While sending out birthday wishes, Cynthia skipped Leakes and shouted out Sam and even a RHOA producer. That’s shadier than an unfollow in today’s social media climate.
Earlier this month, the Glee alum claimed that if she was invited to the model’s 2020 wedding — she would go.
In October, the Lake Bailey owner claimed that she and Nene were on better terms than they were on the episodes airing.
She told Hollywood Life: ‘I’m happy to say we’re in a better place [now]. We’re not in a great place. We’re not in the perfect place, but we are in a way better place by the time we get to the end of the season [12].’

Currently, viewers are still at the beginning of the new installment and the two don’t see eye-to-eye at all. A storyline revolving an alleged recording of Cynthia speaking badly about Nene has been brought to the table and has the ladies talking.
This is just one of the many reasons that the 52-year-old claims that Bailey has a ‘different side’ to her that hasn’t been shown on TV.
Leakes told Entertainment Tonight: ‘I think a lot of people over the years have felt I was the more aggressive one in our relationship, or she was following me around or something to that effect, and that’s not the case. Cynthia definitely has a side to her that, for whatever reason, Bravo has not shown that side of her.’
